Chefs wishing to register with Yacht Chef Agency

All chefs must initially submit their CV's to our London Office for review.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years professional chef experience
  • Must speak fluent English.

Please Provide via e-mail:

  • An up-to-date CV with current address and contact information (in Microsoft Word format)
  • Your CV should include the following:
    • List of references with phone numbers (with a brief one-liner explaining how that person relates to your career)
    • A half-page bio (should give the client a glimpse of your background, married, born in etc.)
    • Any other information relating to your career (e.g. articles)
    • Headshot photograph of your-self in chef jacket. No selfies. (jpg)
  • Upon request you will then be required to provide via e-mail:
    • Letters of recommendation from past employers (scanned)
    • Food photos and a current menu plan reflecting your repertoire (jpg)
    • Culinary Qualifications
    • Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Certificate (classroom exam completed within the past two years)
    • If no formal culinary training is held - Ship's Cook Certification ( this will be dependent on position applied for/ if applicable)
    • STCW95 ( within past five years)
    • ENG1 Medical ( within past two years)
    • Proficiency in Security Awareness Certificate
    • Passenger safety certificate (this will be dependent on position applied for/ if applicable)
